The soft glow captured here is enhanced by the muted surroundings - a fine example of interior still life.

The image is really bring the watcher focused on the lamp, which is really interesting, specially for who love the simple styled and who love interior design.
the red is matched with the tungsten color of the lamp, which give a warm feeling and the surrounding is like absorbed into the center.
the pattern on lamp and the wall is matched perfectly. is a great choice (in my opinion) to use a patterned lamp cover rather than use a solid color lamp cover. the match up color within pillow and flower is a plus point. and the asymmetrical placement of the flower vase is give a simpler look. but sometime I feel placing a same flower arrangement on left side is more better than not. but still, is not affected on final image.
but my concern is the red pillow on under of lamp. it's pillow or head of chair or a something??? it's looking good. but if this intended to interior design work or product design, better remove that bolster/pillow/etc that stuck under the lamp.
but still, this an awesome image, if you looked in the simplicity look. and I think is give a good impact if used for advertising in some interior design. and this also good example for still life photography.
